Problem overview

Some Saturn L300 owners report experiencing stalling after driving for about 5 miles, followed by an inability to restart the vehicle for approximately 30 minutes. This issue may be linked to various components, including the crankshaft position sensor, pass lock sensor, BCM, and engine coolant temperature sensor. Additionally, a faulty idle air control (IAC) valve or circuit, as well as problems with the torque converter clutch, could also contribute to the stalling. Owners have also noted other driveability problems such as rough or unstable idle, hesitation, poor fuel mileage, and harsh transmission shifts. To diagnose the issue, it is recommended that owners check for spark at the spark plugs and measure fuel pressure during the problem occurrence. It is advisable to have a mechanic inspect these components to accurately determine the cause of the stalling issue in the Saturn L300.
