My 2007 RX350 will on occasion show a "check air conditioning" warning that appears on the Navigation display. When this happens it is usually after the car has just been started and it then will not blow cold air. If I cycle the air conditioning on and off the air begins working fine again. Looking for what part to replace and where to get it.
Air conditioner is blowing hot air. My repair person said this is a known problem with the Lexus RX350. It's a 2010. I am very upset. It's my second RX and I had the other for 10 years. I am loosing my confidence with them.
ac blows cold for a minute and then turns warm - the compressor turns off and the a/c button light starts flashing.
Check AC warning light came on when car first started about 2 weeks ago. It stayed on for about 5 seconds. AC has worked fine and error message has not reappeared. I'm trying to get an understanding of what caused the problem and the cost for repair.
Got a message "Error reading temperature". The air-condition stopped working almost immediately following the message. Wonder how much it will cost to repair.
Had hot air blowing out of passenger side. Lexus did diagnostic checks and finally checked this part and that is it. $1.030 to fix. I am livid!
Same as one of the prior reports: A/C will start blowing hot air, and message appears on navagation screen saying 'check air conditioner'. We've driven to Lexus Service under this condition, and while the 'message' was still 'on'...they ran the 'diagnostics'...which said 'nothing is wrong'. Obviously the 'diagnostics' are wrong too. After several attempts, Lexus still can't repair
Actually, I have a Toyota Camry - which is essentially the same. The A/C would stop working and a/c light would flash. If I turned it off and then on again, it would work for a minute or so and then stop again. I took it in to the dealer and they first thought it was the compressor. After doing additional testing, which they claimed took hours, they said it is the a/c amplifier and the cost to fix it is about $750!
Car ac blows hot air with check a c message occasionally for a long time. Recently, twice it has blown hot air then turned cold with no check a c message. Happened first time and corrected after 5 minutes. Second time stopped and restarted car and it corrected itself within a minute
Purchased 2007 Lexus RX 2 weeks back from a retired Military personnel. He said he kept the car in pristine condition. Now we are getting check AC light on.
When it gets hot out side, the AC stops working. Green light on the button starts to blink and and AC blows warm air. I also noticed a slight burning smell coming out from the vents.
When my ac lights starts to flash on my 2008 Lexus RX350 the ac stops cooling, mine already has the replacement part but did not last. Lexus needs to recall all with the AC Amplifier and resolve this issue. Thanks. Dale.
air conditioner is blowing hot air on drivers side only. The passenger side is working perfectly
Have had it checked many times but dealer always says can't find cause or can't duplicate problem while they have my car. Now at 60,000 miles and still have a/c where stops cooling and warm air blows. Turn a/c off and back on and many times that works or have to shut car off and restart. Been told I may have to replace the whole a/c stereo unit!
Message started appearing on the navigation screen upon starting the car for the first time in the morning, usually after a night outside in a temperature of about 50 degrees. This started about two weeks ago and continued for 5-6 days. It hasn't occurred since. The car was not taken to the dealer and it has not been repaired.
