abs light comes on sporadically when applying brakes. also feel a pumping sensation in pedal and a noise at same time which causes volt meter to temporarily begin discharging. unknown cause to problem. taking to mechanic for diagnosis.
Check brake system light on, ABS light on, audible warning; brakes seem to work fine but not sure if ABS still enabled.
new brakes and rotors installed all around. Brake system emits a farting sound when depressed at low speed right before the stop. I also get a traction control light when first going forward from reverse.
ABS and Brake warning light comes on at any given time. Not fix because no one can tell me the real problem. Some shops say it is sensor and some say it is the module.
The ABS light goes on once and awhile. The brake pedal will pulsate and make noise at the same time. It seems to be stopping okay but not sure if the ABS is engaging?
Entire Life of Vehicle since NEW ... GM has had vehicle in their shop almost if not more than 20 times, three of which was for almost a month straight each time and they still have not corrected the problem. Now that it has exceeded warranty, GM will not fix chronic problem anymore when they never truly fixed it in the first place. This causes a Stabilitrak issue and loss of power as well as spasming of the vehicle and has been a danger to me and my family for years but we cannot afford a new payment at this time besides I love this vehicle except for this repetitive issue!
My ABS light and warning siren would activate intermittently, starting about 3 years ago. We replaced a wheel bearing/ABs unit that appeared to have worn/failed, but the problem persists. It appears to be the main control unit. My car failed inspection this past month due to it, although braking is not effected at all.
ABS light and loud auditory warning whenever I drive the vehicle. We have replaced one of the ABS sensors on the front passenger wheel, since beating needed to be replaced to pass inspection. Still didn't help problem.
ABS, Brake warning lights on. Anti-lock warning light flickers. No change in braking pressure, no screeching or grinding noises, nothing, no steering problems or shaking of turning wheel
The front breaks Are sticking and won't release and a seat belt is locked and won't unlock and a fuse is blown where seats won't move back,& forth or up and down
