I bought the 2005 Audi A6 used, as soon as I left the lot about 1mile I got parking brake fault message with abs message. still comes on every time I drive the car. Have not had it repaired yet.
Update 6-12-2014, Just had my ABS Control Module serviced from a independent repair person that did find a fault in the Module I reinstalled it and not had a problem since, (it has been only 1 day so far but way happy that I don't get that beep or message anymore) . Cost about $200 for the fix and about 1/2hr total time to remove and replace, Dealer wanted over 2k.
ABS module light comes on along with faulty parking light beeps warning every time car stops at lights and resumes driving.
ABS light on Brake light blinking. This does not happen every time I start car but does come on later while driving
Have not repaired yet
Started having intermittent ABS Brake and Brake (Blinking) and Sound from time to time.
Had car into Audi they said the Brake Fluid was low. Problem went away. Problem back went
back to Audi they said there is a leak in the Vacuum Module that needs to be replaced and
a few other items. $850.00. Now, still have the Brake (Blinking), sound, and ABS light then
Check Engine Light on. Took to Audi they said the ECM module needs to be replaced $1,700.
Before I got it off the lot the lights back on. Now they say it was to do with the ABS brake
Bought my car used and it had ABS/parking break fault. they cleared the codes and it came back. every time i get in my car the faults come up and beep while i drive. Audi dealership wants $2000 to replace the ABS system but i dont think that is the problem. I think it all has something to do with the EMC. Have not fixed the problem yet
ABS light has been flashing since I purchased the car about a 1 1/2 years ago. Didn't bother fixing it though.
ABS, parking brake, brake & tail light warnings intermitently at first, now constantly. Dealer quoted $2500 to "start" repairs by replacing the ABS module, then see what error remain. In essence they told me they will start replacing parts one at a time until the problem goes away! First and last Audi I will ever buy.
ABS module light comes on along with faulty parking light beeps warning every time car stops at lights and resumes driving. Dealer wants 1999.00 for just the part.
Haven't fixed this yet, but my ABS light on the dash is on. There are about a zillion videos on line of how to fix this without replacing the whole module, though: commonly, one of the connectors will break, and it's a simple matter of filing away the protective plastic, soldering on a little piece of wire to bridge the gap, and covering it over with epoxy.
ABS light solid, brake light blinking. Had scanned, scanner could not communicate with it. Thought I read that was a good thing. Haven't tried to fix yet.
I have had the car for almost two years now. I have read about this issue multiple times as I have encountered just about every other possible problem everyone complains about on forums and reviews about Audi vehicles. This winter, my ABS and Parking Brake Light would come on intermittently and shutoff, usually as I stopped. Then, the lights would turn off. It did that for about two weeks. Then, they began to stay illuminated from the time I started the car till I shut it off. Occasionally, they would stay off for a little while and sometimes just for a couple seconds as I braked, on icy roads. I eventually unplugged the ABS Module because I was tired of playing roulette with the brakes in the winter. I drove the car with standard brakes (no ABS) to date. I have removed the module myself and am planning on testing to see if it is internally shorted. If I confirm that it is faulty, I am going replace it. However, I am making an educated guess based on the number of reports for this issue, including my own symptoms, that the ABS Module is the culprit.

I will make an update once I have finished my analysis. (Bad ABS Module? Bad Wheel Speed Sensor(s)? Open Circuits?)
ABS Lights go on red brake light go on..after short stop every time I start driving there is a warning beeping sound....Dealer says ABS module has to be replaced cost $ 2,900.00. Car is my sisters she drives it couple of blocks every day no heavy use at all, millege only 31,000. Now the car is not able to pass state inspection!
Purchased year 2000 Audi Quattro A6 in Feb 2013. ABS Light was coming on when purchased. At first it would come on as the engine warmed up. Now in the heat of the summer it comes on at startup. Was told it would cost $800 to replace. Have not fixed.
