A knocking May be Noted From the Engine Under Certain Conditions on Lexus LS460
Problem overview
A knocking sound may be heard at idle, when the air conditioning is off and the automatic transmission is in "Drive". Several changes have been made to improve this; a computer software upgrade, revised valve lash adjusters, and a redesigned timing chain are all available to try and correct this concern.
