What is your question?
AC has never worked properly freon is fine and has also been pulled to a vacuum checked for leaks and refilled to specs. Seems like hot temps and at stops it blows warm air the most otherwise it is very sporadic and most of the time doesn't blow cool air, I cannot find the ambient air temp sensor. I have the front end pulled off and still don't see it

Hello, have you confirmed a failure with the ambient temperature sensor, or is this just a guess? The only time I would be considering a temperature sensor is inside the vehicle during automatic temperature control operation. If inside the car it is reading 50 degrees, the system will command warmer air. However, even at these times, the compressor will still function as designed to dehumidify the interior, and refrigerant will still get cold and evaporate the moisture in the process of converting from a liquid to a gas again. More likely, you have a concern with either a cycling switch which is cutting off power to the compressor coil at inappropriate times, or the compressor coil itself or clutch is not working properly consistently. Testing will be needed electrically to see if there is power going to the coil without result.
