Mercedes-Benz SLK230 ProblemsTransmission May Leak Fluid and Damage Control Module

Internal and External engine oil & coolant leaks can develop from the head gasket and/or timing cover gasket; these leaks should be repaired before the engine oil and coolant intermix which can result in severe engine damage.
Position switches for the vario roof can fail, causing the roof to stop in the process of opening or closing.
Mercedes-Benz SLK230 QuestionsI use a battery-tender 24/7 to keep battery charged but after driving 25-30 miles it will not start if turned off. (1 answer)
The battery has been replaced twice. I run it while parked until it reaches 180 operational temp. on days it isn't driven. Yet it will not start w/o the Battery Tender being connected. All diagnostic checks are alright. The front right fender(battery side) was damaged & repaired.
Took it to a shop and they stated it was the computer under the hood, they said it got wet, which seem impossible they way it is sealed
My voltage meter reads 12 volts after recharging and I get nothing, no dash lights, head lights, nothing. Everything is dead. What should I try next?
