Wow! What a beautiful. Car. Especially after my exterior modifications. Drives incredible. Modified interior updated center navigation upgraded drl replaced old fog lights upgraded grill to 2011. Quad exhaust smoked custom finished side marker lights and tail. New 19 inch wheels. Ok enough of the good. Bought it 3 years old 75000. Campaign issues covered oil sensor migrating to module covered abc lines prevent fire hazard covered. Abc tandum pump replacement. Water cooled alternator replaced condenser ac compressor . Now the biggie. Oil cooler gasket leak. Design flaw. Must lift manifold take heads of to repair. Mercedes won't seal gasket. You must buy new modified intercooler. Bad 600 for but good if it means you never do again. This is a 8day 8hours each day job. Do the math. Repairs covered by campaign 13,500. Parts not 23k. Car has 125k miles so for 50k miles driven 38k not including gas oil changesvand basic tune with up cost. Oh one last thing. The price of the used car in 2005 was 68k. So what do I think of this car. When it's running nothing better when it has problems I want to blow it up with a tank

I PURCHASED MY CL600 WITH A SCANT 71,000 MILES ON THE CLOCK JAN 2009 AND IN THE 1ST 9 MONTHS IT REQUIRED NEARLY $14,OOO IN EXTENDED WARRANTY WORK & ALL OF IT WITH SOMETHING ELECTRICAL THAT CONTROLS SOMETHING MECHANICAL....I LOVE THE STYLING & THE SHEAR JOY OF DRIVING IT WHEN EVERYTHING WORKS AS ADVERTISED...IT NOW HAS JUST OVER 93,000 & IT BREAKS AGAIN WITH AN ISSUE THAT IT DEVELOPED LAST YEAR WHERE THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS BUT FASTEST THE CAR WILL GO IS 50-65 MPH. DEALER REPLACED CONTROL MODULE I THINK BUT HERE IT IS A YEAR LATER & ITS A SHINY FLAGSHIP CAR IN A DRIVEWAY.... $130K-145K NEW & IT STAYS AT A DEALERSHIP SERVICE BAY RACKING UP

Beautiful car with the worst possible electronic engine management. Endless repairs, right, left and middle bank in the iginition system changed, because the master computer declared it faulty. Thereafter the master computer exchanged, as it was where the problems originated). All at extreme costs and before 40,000 miles. Dealer helpful, but Mercedes France throughout ignorant. Today the car often drains the battery night-over, and the only reply I can get from Mercedes is: 'That not unusual for a Mercedes'. As mentioned at the beginning: A very beautiful car, extremely unreliable and costly to own in every respect. 'Constructed' ZIP used, as the site apparently doesn't accept foreign ZIPs.
