Question Asked: At what mileage interval do the spark plugs need to be changed?
February 07, 2015, 11:03 AM
Honda service department has changed their maintenance schedule for the 2009 CRV and it does not specify when the spark plugs need to be changed. The previous schedule noted that they were to be changed at 90K. The new schedule does not state when they are to be changed.
Question Asked: Are the front passenger and hatch door lock actuators somehow connected?
June 14, 2012, 04:53 PM
The front passenger and hatch door locks will not properly operate. They will intermittently lock and unlock with the key fob and/or the button from the drivers side. When they malfunction, I must unlock the passenger door lock then i can unlock the hatch with the key fob. If I am trying to lock the car, I must manually lock the passenger door lock first then I can lock the hatch either with the key fob or with the drivers side lock all button. This seems like the two locks are somehow connected. Does anyone have any insight into this situation. Thanks to any and all who can help!!
Question Asked: premature tire wear
May 02, 2010, 03:51 PM
we purchased brand new from dealer lot in june 2009. at 15k mile scheduled service maintenance both rear tires were worn down LR down to 2/32 and RR down to 1/32. front tires were good at both 5/32.Tire pressures were maintained at 30psi which is what is noted on the decal on drivers side panel. Original warranty does not cover tires. The original tires are bridgestone. I am in process of warranty battle with firestone but i fear i may not prevail. has anyone had any similar problem and what was your resolution. any advise would greatly be appreciated. thank you!!! gary
Question Asked: Fuel gauge slow to react
August 28, 2009, 08:10 PM
Today when i was filling up my 2000 toyota camry again, i noticed that the fuel gauge was very slow to react to the filled tank. it took almost a mile before the needle went to the full mark on the gauge. I purchased the vehicle used 3 weeks ago and this is only the second time i have filled the tank. Could this be some type of problem or is this normal for the 2000 camry 2.2L engine. please advise. Thank you very, very much!!
Question Asked: fuel pump
August 26, 2009, 05:38 PM
I noticed there were no questions here regarding fuel pumps for the 2000 toyota camry. A co-worker metioned that on his celica that problems occured because his fuel pump was in the gas tank. If the fuel goes below 1/4 tank it causes problems on the fuel delivery. Are there any known problems like this for the2000 toyota camry 2.2L 4 cyl. Please advise. Thank you very much!
Question Asked: EGR valve and rough idle
August 16, 2009, 07:51 PM
I have been reading posts regarding EGR valves because my sons check engine light came on. Advance auto did a scan which showed code P 0401: Egr valve insufficient. Could the egr valve problem be related to a slightly rough idle that he has experienced

Car Review: 2009 Honda CR-V
May 02, 2010, 03:40 PM
we purchased our crv in june 2009 brand new through the cash for clunkers program. bryan honda is excellent dealership to deal with. the service dept. is exceptional good after the sale to make an all around wonderful company to do business with. the vehicle is so far doing good . the only problem is premature wearing of the bridgestone tires originally installed. at 15k mile scheduled maintenance had to replace 2 rear tires!! one was worn down to 1/32 and the other down to 2/32. Unfortunately tires on new vehicles are not handled through the dealership but through firestone. we are beginning a litigation warranty battle with them but probably to no avail.
