As long as it fits in the wheel arch. Check your ins policy sometime a spec change from the manufacturers affects your insurance.

First check temp sensor on the engine. Seems it is shorting giving the computer a faulty reading. If it is connected the sensor could be damaged. The hard start when cold is because the computer is reading the 'hot' and not allowing the cold start to function.

If you r doing it as a friend, a cup of coffee and lunch. If you r doing it as a mechanic then be careful. There r alot of things to consider. Insurance is the main thing.

The problem is the master cylinder. Assuming the front is disc then your peddle pressure will remain constant with a little more travel as the rear shoes wear down. Have the master cylinder replaced.

Does it have manual or automatic free wheeling the 4wd selector a lever or button. If a button then check the fuse.

White smoke or black? White smoke means engine rings worn. Black injectors need service and while ur at it calibrate injector pump

Check the splines on the wiper arm. If that is ok the link bush on the motor to wiper spindle is worn or loose. Do both wiper arms move in unison

Have you tried reversing 10mtrs, then slip main gearbox to neutral, then move transfer lever.
