The front oxygen (air fuel ratio) sensor element may develop a crack, causing the Check Engine Light to illuminate. Subaru has recalled certain models to replace sensors that may fail. The Subaru service program number is WXW-80, this is not a government mandated recall.

I went drove through water and my car won't start.The battery is fine.The ground is good.I put the key in the ignition and the interior lights came on for a few seconds then nothing. No power.It will not turn over. I checked all the fuses and everything looks good.Any suggestions?

Two codes are showing up the knock sensor and the o2 sensor but no engine light is on
The light comes on when you turn the key so the bulb not blown out but a code reader shows that there on but no light when you drive

left subaru years ago for a chevy.... so glad to be back..... 180,000 and it runs like well enough to keep us happy.... will never own anything but...had problems with thermostat only to learn it was owner neglect....
