We are thrilled to have a world-class team of ASE-certified, factory-trained and certified, and state-licensed master technicians here at RepairPal. Over the last year, we’ve assembled a group of individuals with extensive background in the automotive world. These professionals not only have experience repairing automobiles, but many of these folks have run their own shops and worked in the auto parts industry. We recently took an informal survey and were delightfully surprised to learn that our team, collectively, has more than 500 years of experience in the trade. Pretty amazing.

What’s an ASE-certified technician and what does it mean to you? As car owners and drivers, we benefit from ASE certification. It’s a way to measure the knowledge and skills of individual technicians as well as the commitment to quality of the repair shop that employs these professionals.

We work with auto technicians to ensure that our RepairPrice Estimates and Expert Insights are accurate. We test our estimates and review every car model with our technicians, who have worked on thousands of cars. This level of detail ensures we deliver information and expertise (until now available only to industry insiders) to everyone who visits RepairPal. Our technicians love fixing cars and helping the people who drive them—and their dedication shows!

Know a great technician? Rate his or her shop!.

I know a good technician for Nissans if you're expanding your expert board. The link you have takes you to the shop lookup, but it seems it's supposed to be about submitting a technician?
