2008 Cadillac CTSVisitor, Bellingham, WA, November 18, 2013 15:57this is a list of the problems we have had with our 2008 CTS over the last three and a half years - leaking seals around the sunroof, trunk lid and tail lights, repaired four times. - broken suspension casting in right rear, repaired under warrantee . - most recent , the bolt holding the right upper control arm to the subframe loosened causing wear to the hole in the subframe, we are told the mechanic tightened the bolt and realigned the wheel but that it could happen again, and the only real fix would be to replace the subframe, at a cost of approximately 2500.00. This car has less than 30,000 miles on it and always had maintenance at dealer. We are very disappointed with the car and just want to get rid of it.
2008 Cadillac CTSrlkbigcheeze, Falls Church, VA, August 17, 2010 11:13I guess that mine is the exception, not the rule. Lots of problems thus far! Major electrical issue with wiring harness under drivers seat, both sunroof motors had to be replaced, sunroof alignment 2x since, timing chain and gears replaced at 12,000 miles,LF drivers weatherstrip,RF sun visor, LF window motor and regulator replaced at 17,000 miles! Heated windshield fluid feature eliminated under a recall. When the warranty is over - Its out of here! Thats really a shame because I love the car!Enthusiast

2008 Cadillac CTSSandMan, Aurora, CO, April 08, 2009 15:53I bought this car after looking for about 6 months at BMW's, Mercedes, and Audi. It was the best value, nicest looking car in its class. I have not been disappointed once- not with the car and not with Cadillac service. One point, though, the 2008 was redesigned and looks much nicer than this site's picture. The picture is of a much older model.Enthusiast
