Accually the Jetta door glass is not a difficult installation. You can buy the glass new and used from. They even send you detailed instructions on how to replace the glass for all makes and models.
Question Answered: Glue for Rearview Mirror

The person before me answered correctly by using a Loctite Windsheild Button Glue. Its a 2 part system. The Glass must be clean and the primer is applied to both the glass and button. Then the resin is applied to the mirror button. A very small amount. Just a DOT. Take the button to where you sprayed the primer, and hold it for about 5 seconds to the windshild. However and I can not stress this, make sure the button is correctly positioned, being once bonded, you can not remove it from the windshield. The resin is always applied to the flat side of the button. The arrow shape is at the top. The button must be totally clean as well. Using a razor and scraping off the old glue is needed. You may accually use the primer to help you loosen the glue from the button. For further information go to
