My name is Steven Priest. 58 years old and forced into an early retirement with COPD lung disease..I fell in love with an old beat up looking Chevy 1500 truck at first sight, so I bought it. It's my intention to restore it while being driven on an average of 6,000 miles a year. The truck has been named Bertha. So far I have put all new belts, hoses, and a radiator. I bought it with less than 111,000 miles on it. Now she has almost 129,000 miles. My intention is to stay ahead of mechanical problems. If a truck like this has the reputation of lasting an easy 275,000 miles, then the truck might just out live me. lol.
