Are the vacuum line layout the same between a 1995 and a 1998 a/c control unit?

My a/c control went out in my 1998 Chevy Cavalier.I bought a new one,but it's from 1995.The vacuum lines connection didn't match the 1995 a/c control so I cut the old connection off and bought new hoses to connect from the car and to the a/c control. Now,I hear air coming out from the dash,and the blower doesn't work now.Could they related somehow? Also,is the 1995 and the 1998 units have the same vacuum line layout?

My a/c controls done work properly anymore.It doesn't light up,no defrost.I believe the vacuum lines were cut.
Question Answered: How much should it cost to replace my exhaust?

It might be quite expensive.I had the same service done a few years ago on my 1998 chevy cavalier at Meineke.It was $500.

Remove ground from battery.Wait 10-20 seconds.Put back the ground on battery.That will clear the code in the cars conputer.
