PCM LOCATED BEHIND GLOVE BOX ALSO CHECK RELAYS SOUNDS LIKE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM SHORT!!! MAYBE! DID YOU CHANGE THE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR YET B4 YOU HOOKED FAN DIRECT THEY GO BAD ON ALOT OF DIFFERENT CAR MAKES?

FOR THE PO171 LEAN CONDITION CHECK FOR A VACUMN LEAK HOSES OR INTAKE MANIFOLD ALSO HOW LONG AGO DID YOU CHANGE FUEL FILTER COULD BE RESTRICTING FUEL FLOW CAUSING LEAN CONDITION? FOR THE P1405 CHECK EGR HOSES AND EGR WORKING WATCHING MANDREL MOVE WHILE THROTTLE MOVEMENT COULD BE PLUGGED INTAKE PASSAGE REMOVE EGR AND CLEAN THOROUGHLY?

WHAT ABOUT THE HEATER CONTROL VALVE MIGHT BE PARTIALLY OPEN AND NOT FUNCTIONING WHEN YOU REV THE ENGINE IT COULD BE FORCING MORE CIRCULATION THRU THE VALVE AND CAUSING IT TO BE HOT INSTEAD OF COLD AIR ???????????

NOT ALWAYS WILL IT SEND A CODE ONLY IF A LEAN CONDITION CODE MIGHT COME UP I KNOW CHRYSLER PRODUCTS ARE NOTORIOUS FOR FUEL PUMP ISSUES TRY BANGING ON THE TANK WITH A RUBBER HAMMER WHILE SOMEONE ELSE TURNS THE ENGINE OVER TRYING TO START THE VEHICLE IF IT STARTS THE PUMP NEEDS REPLACING ITS FAILING GOOD LUCK GOODWRENCH MR.

I WOULD CHECK THE CONNECTION AT THE TANK FOR A GOOD GROUND AND ALSO THE PLUG OUTSIDE THE TANK FOR POWER THERE COULD BE A BREAK IN THE WIRING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT TO THE TANK CONNECTOR ? LIKE THE OTHER GUY SAID MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT RELAY ITS ON THE BACK OF THE COVER THE LOCATIONS OF THE RELAYS AND IF YOU HAVE RUN THE CAR OUT OF GAS SEVERAL TIMES IT COULD OF OVERHEATED THE PUMP AND ITS FAILING INTERMITTENTLY TRY BANGING ON THE LOWER PART OF THE TANK WITH A RUBBER HAMMER LAST RESORT IF IT STARTS THE PUMP IS FAILING ? GOOD LUCK GOODWRENCH MR
