Oil Cooler

The oil cooler is a small radiator-style cooler that lowers the temperature of the engine oil and circulates it back to the engine.

Symptoms of a Bad or Failing Oil Cooler

  • Engine oil leak
  • Engine oil temperature too high
  • Any seals associated with the engine oil cooler should be replaced if the cooler is replaced
  • Some oil coolers may be difficult to access, resulting in a higher replacement cost
