Actions: Replacement of the Spark Plugs and Timing Belt* Inspection of the water pump and valve clearance*.

Why this is needed:

• Spark plugs wear out with time and will need to be replaced. Not replacing the spark plugs at the correct time can cause poor engine performance, poor gas mileage and in extreme cases cause the check engine light to illuminate
• Rubber timing belts have a limited life expectancy and will need to be replaced. Failure to replace the timing belt at the proper time could cause engine damage if the timing belt breaks
• On engines where valve clearance is adjustable, and proper adjustment will ensure a smooth running engine, as well as preventing the check engine light to illuminate and/or engine damage
