Vehicles with a 6speed automatic transmission may develop one or more of the following faults related to a broken 35R clutch wave plate inside the transmission: Illumination of the Check Engine Light with code P0716, P0776, P0717, P0777, P2714, P2715, and/or P02723, loss of reverse gear, slipping or harsh 3rd or 5th gear shift. Removal and dis-assembly of the transmission will be required to replace the broken 35R wave plate. It is also extremely important that all debris from the failed part be cleaned from the transmission while it is disassembled in order to try and prevent future problems.
My rear AC/heater blower in my 2012 Traverse busted and needed replacing. I ordered the new part from Autozone, but when it came in the part was too big to fit into the vehicle's housing. I then checked at the dealer, by VIN, and the dealer's part was also too big to fit. The dealer parts clerk said the blower was probably redesigned and that I'd need a new housing as well to accept the redesigned blower. I ended up ordering a salvage yard...

Why would a starter go on a car that is not even 6 years old and only has 75000 on it ???
Is there a recall I did not get on this?
Like all the other recalls on this call..
they should take all the traverses off the road.. 6 years been in the shop over 132 times that must say something for ...

Defective welds in the left lower seat frame of the vehicle's third row can result in a lack of structural integrity of the seat. This can result in occupant injury in a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace as necessary the left lower third row seat frame free of charge to resolve the concern.
The windshield wiper motor may overheat and stop working, and cause a fire hazard. Dealers will replace the wiper motor cover assembly free of charge to resolve the concern. Owners are advised to not use the windshield wipers until the cover has been replaced.
The power liftgate may fall suddenly from the open position due to the failure of the struts that support it when open. Dealers will update the software for the liftgate actuator motor control unit to prevent rapid closing of the liftgate free of charge to resolve the problem.
