Transmission Fault and/or Check Engine Light With Code P0716, P0776, P0717, P0777, P2714, P2715, and/or P02723

Vehicles with a 6speed automatic transmission may develop one or more of the following faults related to a broken 35R clutch wave plate inside the transmission: Illumination of the Check Engine Light with code P0716, P0776, P0717, P0777, P2714, P2715, and/or P02723, loss of reverse gear, slipping or harsh 3rd or 5th gear shift. Removal and dis-assembly of the transmission will be required to replace the broken 35R wave plate. It is also extremely important that all debris from the failed part be cleaned from the transmission while it is disassembled in order to try and prevent future problems.

Got in the Traverse yesterday, turned on the air conditioner immediately full blast. Smoke came from under the hood in the very front, and noise, was the system hard pressed because it didn't warm for a minute?

happened last night while driving; noticed driver's side heated/cool seat lights on, but seat not cooling, couldn't turn off; then noticed all power accessories on driver's side door not working.

Defective welds in the left lower seat frame of the vehicle's third row can result in a lack of structural integrity of the seat. This can result in occupant injury in a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace as necessary the left lower third row seat frame free of charge to resolve the concern.

Windshield Wiper Motor Overheats

The windshield wiper motor may overheat and stop working, and cause a fire hazard. Dealers will replace the wiper motor cover assembly free of charge to resolve the concern. Owners are advised to not use the windshield wipers until the cover has been replaced. 

Liftgate Falls Closed Without Warning

The power liftgate may fall suddenly from the open position due to the failure of the struts that support it when open. Dealers will update the software for the liftgate actuator motor control unit to prevent rapid closing of the liftgate free of charge to resolve the problem.

lacks alot of power. had this vehicle for 4 months and it has been and the shop once every month. Too many problems with this SUV. Mainly driving and performance issues.Looks great has gadgets but not dependable vehicle.
I have this 2011 traverse and all it has given me headaches The seat belt on second row dont work, the ac leaks the freon and now check engine is on it only haas 79000 miles and hardly use it and I have all these problems with it maintenance is upto date and all these vehicles should be recall back they are nice but have too many problems
