What Does P2BAC Code Mean?

OBD-II Code P2BAC is defined as a nox Exceedence - Deactivation of EGR

The purpose of the reductant system (DEF) is to reduce the amount of NOx released by the diesel engine. The engine computer (PCM) uses multiple NOx sensors to confirm the performance of the reductant system. If excessive emissions are detected, the PCM will deactive other systems to prevent additional component damage. Code P2BAC will be set.Additional codes will be stored. Those codes will need to be diagnosed and repaired.
