OBD-II Code Vehicle may not have heat is defined as a Engine Coolant Bypass Valve Control Circuit/Open
The Engine Coolant Bypass Valve (also referred to as the Passenger Compartment Heater Coolant Control Valve) sends coolant through the heater core when the heat in the cabin is on. The Hybrid Powertrain Control Module operates this valve based on coolant temperature and the driver's climate control request. If this Valve fails to function as requested, code P2681 is set.
