OBD-II Code Transmission may not shift properly is defined as a Transmission Friction Element "G" Slip Detected
The Hybrid Control Module monitors the transmission clutches for slippage. If the Control Module detects any slippage when the seventh clutch is activated code P07A0 will be set. The hybrid control module may also place the vehicle in "limp home", limiting available engine/transmission performance to prevent additional damage.

- Internal transmission failure
