RepairPal Expert Overview:

When moving the seats from a flat to upright position, the second row seat belt buckle may bind on the second row seat trim shield. This could prevent proper operation and securing of the safety belt, which would increase the risk of injury to an occupant. Dealers will modify the second row seat trim shields. The GM recall number is N100243. This recall began on August 18, 2010.

Brakes, May 6, 2009

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The parking brake cable connector was not manufactured within specification of the Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. This could cause the cable connector to fracture without warning, causing the parking brake cable to disengage. If the transmission shift lever is placed in the "Park" position, the vehicle will remain in place. Under special conditions where the vehicle is not placed in "Park" on a slope, the keys are left in, and the parking brake disengages, a crash could result without warning. Dealers will replace the parking brake cable link free of charge. The recall began May 5, 2009. The GM recall number is 09045.

Drive Train, March 15, 2009

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The shifter cable adjustment may become dislodged. This may cause the vehicle to show that it is in "Park," when it could actually be in another gear. If this happens, the vehicle may move and not be secure. Dealers will inspect the shift cable adjustment clip to make sure it is fully engaged, and will replace any shift cables that cannot be secured. The General Motors recall number is 09041. The recall began on March 24, 2009.

24,600 miles on vehicle and had to have the computer system replaced
two weeks ago and the check engine light is coming back on and vehicle is skipping........so off to the dealership again for the third time.

We bought an 09" Traverse in June 2011. I had a few reservations buying the vehicle used, but it rode great was "Certified Pre-owned," so ended up choosing it over other cross-overs. My father kept telling me there was a smell to the vehicle, but I just thought he was being a clean freak. We kept the vehicle in the garage almost all last year, but then bought new furniture and stored the old in the garage, so we could no longer store the car. This past month the rainy season has started and I started smelling something. As time went by it got worse. My father pulled up the extra space compartment and that area was completely soaked. The smell that came from there was rancid. The cover for the extra space/trunk bottom was completely dry indicating that the water is leaking down from somewhere or from the bottom of the vehicle. I am now getting nausea from the smell it is so strong.

my truck is just a few months old but i came home and park few hours went to start my truck and it would not start, aall of the oil, fluids, fuel are fill. when i put in the keys and turn all i get is a ratteling sound. no problem with the battery. can someone help.
