I am an avid car guy. I have owned literally 100 different cars from a 1958 Cadillac to a 2016 Corvette Stingray. Up until a few years ago, I did all my own work from oil changes to engine rebuilds and everything in between short of electrical stuff. Never did get the hang of the electrical system in any vehicle, especially when computers made their way into the auto industry. I don't claim to be an expert in any area of motor vehicles, and as of 10 years ago stopped doing any of my own stuff as I broke my neck and messed up my back. This T Bird has got me and quite a few master mechanics, dealer mechanics, and small shop owners confused as to why the current issue can not be detected and fixed. I'm sure it's got to be some small issue that has not been identified yet. It is a beautiful car and want to give it to my daughter for her first ride.
