Question Asked: What kind of glue do I use between the windshield and the surrounding rubber?

I had a leak on the passenger side that allowed water to get into the fuse box. I found that the used car must have had the windshield changed and there was never any glue put down the passenger side. What is the best to use? I called repair shops and they all want to change the whole windshield with the warning that there's a high possibility of it breaking when they take it out. Can't I just glue it myself?

I want to change the passenger taillight myself but can't figure out how to get to it. I couldn't see a way from inside the trunk (even after taking the back panel off)or from the outside of the car. Can anyone help?
Question Asked: EGR valve - no vacuum

At the smog test, I was told the EGR valve failed the visual because there was no vacuum (all the test #'s were good). I took it to my local small-town mechanic shop and they changed the EGR valve (for $500) and when I went back for the retest, he said he wouldn't charge me for the test because he said it had the same problem - no vacuum to the EGR valve. Now I am out $'s and don't know where to go from here. Help?

I had the same "no starting" problem with my '93 Probe and found that even though I bought a new battery and then thought it was a bad one and they replaced it, I eventually found out that the new battery I bought did not have enough cold-cranking amps and I needed a heavier duty battery. When I bought the first new one, it worked for a few months then because it was not strong enough,it finally went dead even though my accessories still worked. I jumped it and jumped it til I finally did kill the battery. It's a thought about your trouble anyway.

I have over 190k miles on this car and I really like it still. The only problems are that the ext. paint has spotty oxidation (sort of) that keeps getting worse and the cloth seats wore through sooner than I expected. In 10/96, I was having intermittant problems with it starting and had the battery, starter and battery terminals changed. It was wet weather that Oct, and now, all of a sudden after a big rainstorm, it again died and wouldn't start. Otherwise, it's a zippy little car and living in the mtns, I find it fun to drive the mtn roads. It handles well and hugs the road.
