Have it checked out by someone that knows what they are doing. If you had 1 alignment and you car was pulling you never should have left the shop without an answer! Alignments are less likely to cause a pull than most people think. Tires, brakes and worn or bent suspension parts should be checked. I hope you were not charged for the second alignment.

Depending on the noise, there was a bulletin related to a rear diff. noise on the rave 4's
which required replacing the fluid which was modified from Toyota. This could also relate to your Matrix.

There are a few things. Without having a wiring schematic and test light you can guise and replace the ignition switch.

When you say the engine light blinks is it the Check Engine light or the RED engine light? Also was this problem happening before tune up and sensors were changed?

I have to agree with Patrick. There are a number of things that will cause suspension noises. With todays pot holes in the road it is good to have your suspension checked
