Question Answered: what happens when you put transmission fluid mixed with sugar into the gas tank.
May 31, 2013, 06:41 AM
if you have not ran the vehicle yet it is a good thing the sugar is the problem the transmission fluid would just lube the top end of the engine the sugar when mixed with the fuel if the filters should catch most of it i would recommend having towed to a repair shop having them check it out we have had to flush the tank replace fuel filters and flush fuel system to make sure did not get to fuel injectors or in the engine if it did get thru the injectors to the engine it would plug the injectors and could cristalize on the the pistons and rings due major engine damage but if caught in time can be saved most of the time we an help if you would like 614-488-9951 ask for mike or charlie
