More than likely you will need to replace the engine. Without having it in the shop it is hard to say for sure but holes in the engine are never good.
Question Answered: Should I have the power steering fluid flushed and changed?
October 31, 2011, 09:40 AM
As with all fluids in your car power steering fluid can break down and not work as well as when it was new. Changing the power steering fluid is a good maintenance item. It will help extend the life of the power steering pump as well as the steering rack. However, it is a maintenance item so it isn't anything that will cause you to break down.
Question Answered: Clicking noise coming from engine idling and accelerating
March 23, 2011, 11:27 AM
If the noise is louder when cold then I would agree you might have an exhaust manifold gasket leak or possibly a cracked manifold. It would be a good idea to check the oil level, if it gets low it can cause the lifters to make noise. Either way it is best to get it checked out especially if the oil is low it would be good to determine where the oil is going.
Question Answered: Truck wont start.
March 23, 2011, 11:19 AM
More information would be helpful. When it doesn't start does it just click, or does it crank over and just not start? It will probably be best to take into a shop and have it checked out to find the problem quickly. The more information you have for them will help reduce the time it will take to diagnose the problem.
Question Answered: won't start

The smoking problem could be caused by a head gasket leaking coolant into the cylinders. This could also be the cause of the engine not turning over, if it overheated and locked up it could be a large problem. The best thing is to have it towed to a shop and have it diagnosed.
Question Answered: Fuse problem or spark plug problem?
March 09, 2011, 08:49 AM
The problem you are having does not sound like a spark plug or fuse issue. It is definitely an electrical problem that will require diagnosis, possibly a short in the ignition switch.

You can also go online to sites like Tire Monkey and look up tire prices and then have them shipped to an installer. They list the prices the installer will charge on the site along with the tire price so you know your cost before deciding on the tires.
Question Answered: Oxygen sensor failed smog check

The only way to get the monitors to run is to drive it. We have had a few cars that were not running the monitors due to the vehicle not warming up quickly enough. The computer needs to have certain criteria met before it will run the test and the engine getting to operating temp quickly is usually a key factor.

Question Answered: power steering

Checking the power steering fluid would be the first step. If you are low on fluid then there is leak, it would be best to have the system checked for a leak if it is low. There are several components in the system that can cause a hard steering problem.
