alternator checked good on machine on car less than 11v good battery could the starter cause problems or should I replace pos cables I did get new alt anyway bearings sounded rough and its VERY diffacult to remove and don't want to experience again Thank you for any input PS before removing when I turned on A/C a mess of codes and all idiot lights came on

I changed it in my wifes cavalier had to let it set for 24 hrs computer then recognized new lock radio may need to have theft code set
Question Answered: when you change the battery, does everything then have to be reprogrammed?

no but the theft system may require your personal PIN code for radio.I bet if you let it set 24 hrs it will work rediculace to tell you car needs to be reprogramed you didn't change the computer .Hope you have code for radio

sounds like full metallic brake pads semi metallic squeal somewhat but do keep rotor smooth and flat

I had gas tank renew do my 2.4 cavalier changed fuel pump sending unit was a component ran me $700 wouldn't have done it but I thought tank was rusty but it was pump .Hope that gives a little insite. The pump and new lines cash and carry were over $500 so I figure get done and waranteed the life of car

Ive replaced blend doors on several vehicles and all were under dash around heater core and evaporator and pretty much have to pull dash. Sorry a real pain and a couple days if diligent

change fuel filter if that doesn't work could be fuel pump
Question Answered: changed my condenser and now it leaks a lot of water on front passenger side

drain hose on firewall (about three quarter in.) didn't get properly set or plugged perhaps with the silicone. I do believe your speaking of evaporator coil in side with heater core
