Question Asked: RPM is not stable even when engine warmed up

I have a camaro 1992 5.7L, the problem is that its rpm is not stable at all times it keeps going up and down, and sometimes it stalls when I try to accelerate. I changed the fuel filter and fuel pump and I still have the same issue.. can anyone help???

you should change the whole switch from the key terminal

try to connect the neggative connector from the battery terminal to the car's body then measure the voltage again if you still have the same problem thats when you need to change the Alt. because it should read 13.6 when idle.

your fuel pump might be overloaded, that means when your fuel pump got over heated it will not be able to pump the enough fuel required to the engine (hot wether can cause this and also you might have some dirt blocks your fuel filter)
