A car owner who just purchased a 2003 Mercedes SLK 230 with 46,000 miles on it. central locking has not been working and the mechanic I used has charged me for a new siren, gas door actuator and passenger door actuator. Now he tells me I need a DAS module. I took the car on a 400 mile round trip and the coolant warning light came on after about 50 miles. I stopped and checked the coolant it was ok and the float was showing, I topped it up with about a cup of coolant and it has been ok since.
