Whenever i turn off the Air Conditioning in my car, it will start to idle higher and higher, going all the way up to 3 and sometimes even 4 thousand RPMs, but it goes back down to normal when i turn the A/C or heat on, and there's nothing wrong with the way it drives, only when it is idling.
Question Answered: What would cause the check engine light to come on?

It could be something very simple, For example, If you just put gas in the car, the gas cap may not be screwed on correctly, or something more complicated. Generally, unless the check engine light is blinking, it is not an intimidate or major problem. If you go to AutoZone, They will get the diagnostic codes and tell you what the problem is, at no charge.
