Question Asked: Airbag warning light
June 12, 2010, 03:39 PM
I discover the floor under my driver's seat is flooded with 3 inches of rain water! My mechanics first assumption is a plug on the floor has broken causing water to shut up in the car while driving in the rain. So we rip out the interior of the floor and find no holes(I THINK THE MECHANIC WAS AN IDIOT). Finally, I take it to VW and they say it was the SUNROOF drains being clogged and causing water to seep in to car through frame or firewall.
If you had this repair you can get your money back from this class action lawsuit:
John Dewey, Jacqueline Delguercio, et al v. Volkswagen of America, Inc.
Anyway, When I took out the seats, put the interior back inside, then put the seats back in (including plugging in the seatbelt sensors to the seats) the airbag warning light came on the dash and won't go off. What did I do?!
Question Asked: Windshield Wiper Fluid warning light
June 12, 2010, 03:25 PM
About two months ago a warning light came on my dash that I had low or no wiper fluid left. So I bought a huge bottle of it and filled up the tank. The next day the light was on again, I put it more. The Light has been on ever since and I have no wiper fluid in the tank anymore and I'm not about to fill it up again. A leak or a bad sensor or what?
