Turbo Hose

A turbo hose is a large diameter neoprene or silicone rubber hose that connects the air induction components in a turbocharger system.

Symptoms of a Bad or Failing Turbo Hose

  • Lack of power
  • Illumination of the Check Engine Light
  • Turbo hoses carry air pressurized by the turbocharger; as a result, it is critical that the hose clamps be secure
  • If a hose requires replacement, the clamps should be inspected and replaced if necessary
