Inner Tie Rod End

The inner tie rod end connects the steering gear to the outer tie rod, either directly or via a center link.

Symptoms of a Bad or Failing Inner Tie Rod End

  • Vehicle may pull to one side
  • Uneven tire wear
  • Steering wheel off center

Inner Tie Rod End Related Repair Advice

  • We recommend that tie rod ends be replaced in pairs (both inner or both outer)
  • Replacing one or more tie rod ends will change the alignment settings. We recommend a four-wheel alignment if tie rod ends are replaced.
