Exhaust Down Pipe
An exhaust down (header) pipe is a pipe that connects the engine exhaust manifold(s) to the exhaust system. It often includes a flexible connection to allow for engine movement relative to the rest of the exhaust system.

- Ticking type noise (exhaust leak)
- Squeak or creak noise at idle from flexible connection
