American Service Association

Founded in 1951, the Automotive Service Association of America (ASA) advances professionalism and excellence in the automotive repair industry through education, representation, and member services.

Why We Think ASA Membership Is Important

The Automotive Service Association of America shares many of the same principles and qualities as the RepairPal Certified shop program, but to qualify, shops are only required to pay yearly dues. Therefore, ASA membership shows that members are committed to providing quality service, but unlike certification, nothing can be guaranteed.

Benefits to the Consumer

  • The ASA offers shop owners, technicians, and students multiple educational opportunities
  • The ASA actively represents the automotive service industry in Washington, DC as well as other government organizations in order to prevent legislation that may hurt or hinder our industry
  • The average ASA mechanical repair shop is twenty-four years old
