OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a Cylinder 2 Injector Data Incompatible

Fuel Injectors have calibration numbers printed on the side of them. Any time an injector is replaced, this number must be entered into the engine computer (PCM) and Glow Plug Control Module (GPCM). If the calibration ID is not registered to both modules, code P268D will be stored.

  • Decreased engine performance
  • Engine may not start

  • Fuel injectors are not programmed to the powertrain control module (PCM) and the glow plug control module (GPCM)
