OBD-II Code Powertrain Control Module (PCM) failure is defined as a Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooling Valve Control Circuit High
The EGR Cooler uses engine coolant to cool the exhaust gases that are being routed back into the engine. If the EGR Cooling Valve allows the EGR cooler to operate as requested by the engine computer (PCM). If the valve fails to operate as requested, code P2425 is stored.
