OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 Exceeded Control Limits - Pressure Too

The Fuel Pressure Regulator allows the fuel system to release excessive fuel in the fuel rail back to the fuel tank. When the engine control module (PCM) determines that the Fuel Pressure Regulator is not performing properly, the PCM will set code P229A.
