OBD-II Code Powertrain Control Module (PCM) failure is defined as a Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1/3 Correlation
The Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor tells the engine control module (PCM) the temperature of the exhaust gas going into and out of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). The vehicle uses multiple EGT sensors and compares them to each other to verify proper calibration. If the PCM detects an implausible signal from the EGT sensor, it will store code P20E3.
