What Does P2081 Code Mean?

OBD-II Code P2081 is defined as a Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit Intermittent

The Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor tells the engine control module (PCM) the temperature of the exhaust gas going into and out of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). If the PCM detects an implausible signal from the EGT sensor, it will store code P2081.
