OBD II Fault Code

  • OBD II P207C

OBD-II Code Powertrain Control Module (PCM) failure is defined as a Intake Manifold Tuning (IMT) Valve Position Sensor/Switch Circuit

The Intake Manifold Tuning Valve allows the engine computer (PCM) to allow for increased airflow through the engine at higher engine speeds. The PCM uses an Intake Manifold Tuning Valve position sensor to confirm the Intake Manifold Tuning Valve is performing as requested. If the PCM sees an implausible signal from the position sensor, code P207C will be stored. The position sensor is built into the valve assembly.
