OBD-II Code High voltage control module failure is defined as a Motor Electronics Coolant Pump "A" Control Performance
The Inverter/Converter Assembly has its own water pump for its cooling system. This water pump is electronically controlled and monitored by the Power Management Control Module (HV CPU). If the HV CPU detects failure of the water pump, code P0C73 will be set.
