OBD-II Code Battery current sensor failure is defined as a Hybrid Battery Pack Current Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance

The High Voltage Battery Pack has a current sensor mounted to the negative battery cable. This sensor tells the Battery control module if the battery pack is being charged or discharged. If the Battery control module detects a malfunction in the sensor's circuit, it will set code P0AC0.
