OBD-II Code Cruise control will not operate is defined as a Cruise Control "Increase Distance" Signal

Adaptive cruise control uses multiple sensors to monitor what is going on in front of the driver to allow for either a driver warning or automatic braking based on the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front you. If there is an issue with one or more of these sensors, code P056A will be set and the cruise control system will be disabled.
