OBD-II Code Powertrain Control Module (PCM) failure is defined as a Positive Crankcase Ventilation Heater Control Circuit High

The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve contains a heating element to assist the PCV valve in reaching operating temperature faster. If the engine control module (PCM) detects an incorrect signal from the PCV valve, the PCM will set code P053C.
