What Does P0317 Code Mean?

OBD-II Code P0317 is defined as a Rough Road Hardware not Present

Rough Road Hardware allows the engine control module (PCM) to determine if there is a problem with the engine or if the vehicle is being driven on a rough road. If the PCM can not decide between the two, the PCM will set code P0317.
