What Does P0240 Code Mean?
OBD-II Code P0240 is defined as a Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor "B" Circuit
The Boost Pressure Sensor tells the engine control module (PCM) how much boost is actually being created by the turbocharger. When PCM detects an incorrect signal from the Boost Pressure Sensor, the PCM will set code P0240.The PCM may also put the vehicle into "limp home mode", limiting the power of the engine, to protect the engine from additional damage.
P0240 Symptoms

- Engine may enter limp home mode (reduced performance)
